Receiving food in this shrine itself is locked upon as a service to the Goddess. The devotees are served food twice a day. The sprawling dinner all can accommodate a thousand at a time. The kitchen is well furnished and well maintained. Separate personnel appointed for the purpose look after this arrangement. On the day Rashipooja, i.e. Meena Sankramana and on the day of hoisting the Temple flag marking the beginning of the annual festival, i.e. Mesha Sankramana, the ‘Balimoorthi’, the processional idol, is placed before the immense quantity of rice heaped on coconut leaves and worshipped. The rice thus sanctified is then distributed as ‘Prasad’ among a large number of devotees. It is estimated that about ten lakh devotees get fed annually. There are two separate services called Annadana and Maha Annadana in which devotees can participate as patrons.

☀ ಶ್ರೀ ದೇವಳದಲ್ಲಿ ದಿನಂಪ್ರತಿ ಸರಾಸರಿ 5000 ಭಕ್ತಾದಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಹಾಗೂ 3500 ಶಾಲಾ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಅನ್ನದಾಸೋಹ (ಭೋಜನ) ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಶುಕ್ರವಾರ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿಶೇಷ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ 15000ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಭಕ್ತಾದಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಅನ್ನದಾನ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಅನ್ನದಾನದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ದೇಣಿಗೆ ನೀಡುವ ಭಕ್ತಾದಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಆದಾಯ ತೆರಿಗೆಯ 80ಜಿ ವಿನಾಯಿತಿ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ. 2014-15 ನೇ ಸಾಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂದಾಜು 12 ಲಕ್ಷ ಭಕ್ತಾದಿಗಳು ಭೋಜನಪ್ರಸಾದ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

☀ ಆರಾಧನೆ ಉದ್ದೇಶಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಆದ ಖರ್ಚು: 75.00 ಲಕ್ಷ
☀ ಪುರಾಣ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ಕಟೀಲು ಶ್ರೀ ಭ್ರಾಮರೀ ದುರ್ಗಾಪರಮೇಶ್ವರೀ ದೇಗುಲ ಕಾರ್ಣಿಕ, ಶಾಲೆಗಳು, ಯಕ್ಷಗಾನದಷ್ಟೇ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧಿ ಹೊಂದಿರುವುದು ಅನ್ನದಾನಕ್ಕೆ. ದೇಗುಲದಲ್ಲಿ ದಿನಂಪ್ರತಿ ಐದರಿಂದ ಹತ್ತು ಸಾವಿರದಷ್ಟು ಮಂದಿ ಅನ್ನಪ್ರಸಾದ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ವಿದ್ಯಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಲಿಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಎರಡೂವರೆ ಸಾವಿರ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಊಟದ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದಿಂದಲೇ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ. ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ಎರಡು ರಿಂದ ಮೂರು ಕೋಟಿ ರುಪಾಯಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅನ್ನಪ್ರಾಸಾದಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೇ ದೇಗುಲ ವೆಚ್ಚ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ಅನ್ನದಾನ ಸೇವೆಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಮಹತ್ವವಿದೆ. ದೇಗುಲದ ಅನ್ನದಾನ ಸೇವೆಗೆ ಕಾಣಿಕೆ ನೀಡುವವರು ಸಾವಿರಾರು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಊಟ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ತಾವು ನೀಡಿದ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯಿಂದಾಗಿ ಆತ್ಮ ಸಂತೃಪ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
